SXSW 2023

One of the highlights so far in Austin during SXSW

Amazon Amazon Prime Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios

Taking over the well known and beautifully designed boutique Hotel San Jose. The complete transformation was full of opportunities to engage with multiple IPs under the brand studio.

A massive stage was out back and had offerings of food, beverages and area to relax.

The activations offered were denim jackets, photo opps, and The Boys “infamous” scene room that added layers of humor and attention to detail.

Taylor Kellogg and your team and partners, absolutely knocked it out of the park here. A true testament to experiential marketing.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Rainey street is changing a lot these days in Austin. However, activations at SXSW are utilizing and embracing that change to make the best of the engagement.

Paramount+ Paramount created the immersive 3 story lounge. Over at The Clive, they enriched attendees with different activations for each IP. As you walk in, you get handed a card that lets you go to each interactive piece and get a hole punched into it. A great token to takeaway.

The story is what makes this well executed. From walking into the lodge to the photo moments and details across each space.

Melissa Conlon I’m so glad you told me to check this out and the team at Paramount made a great experiential journey!
